At Joy Creations Jewellers & Designers, we have an on-site factory and goldsmith Dennis Barnard. We provide complimentary cleaning and inspection services while you wait. If you are looking for jewellery repairs services, ring resizing or would like to get a quote on your repairs, we invite you to come in and meet us for a free consultation. Services
Jewellery Repair/ On-site Goldsmith
Our jewellery repair factory and on-site goldsmith will resize your ring or bracelet for a perfect fit, set your diamonds to prevent loosening, and perform restoring services. We can also repair a break on your treasured ring, or solder wedding set rings together. If your favourite necklace broke, we will repair the chains and refinish the jewels.
Sizing
This service consists of increasing or decreasing the size of an item whether it’s a bracelet, necklace or ring. Let us help you find the perfect fit.
Setting
Diamonds and gemstones can come loose from their settings. We specialize in different types of settings: claw setting, channel setting, bezel setting, pave setting, gypsy setting & bead setting.
Re- tipping
Over time the tip of your settings will be worn down and you will risk losing your precious stones. We offer re-tipping and claw replacement services to help restoring settings and securing loose stones.
Ring repairs/ soldering
Whether it’s soldering rings from a wedding set together or repairing a break on a ring. We also provide shank replacements and sizing spheres/ bars installations.
Chain repairs
Common repairs include soldering breaks on chains, replacing clasp, replacing or removing links.
Refinishing
Life happens and we often get scratches and scuff marks on our jewellery pieces. Getting ready for the wedding day photo shoot? Let us help you restore the sparkle by refinishing and polishing your jewels.
Electroplating
We offer rhodium plating. Electroplating is used to provide a surface that will prevent tarnishing on certain metals.
Beading & Restringing
We offer restringing services for pearls and other beaded jewellery. We also do redesigning so if you have any bits and pieces lying around at home and would like to re-purpose them please bring them in and let us help.
